The makers of the new Amityville movie are obviously after my heart. If we can’t get a reproduction of the actual home at 112 Ocean Avenue then recreating the iconic home from the 1979 film is the next best thing. And these guys nailed it.

I have always really liked this house. It is scary and big and close enough to the actual home to not be ridiculous like some other versions I could mention.

This new version is slightly different, with the kitchen bump out on the opposite end of the back side and 3 dormers on the back side, but overall the look is dead on and I am most pleased.

Amityville: The Awakening is due out in January.
