Ever since Amityville: The Awakening was pulled from its Jan 2, 2015 release date literally dozens of Amityville fanatics have been anxiously awaiting word about when this film will actually hit theaters, or if it will hit theaters at all. Seems like we might have an answer. Lurking on the film’s poorly maintained and intensely boring Facebook page was this little nugget:

So there you have it…presumably from the horses…or this case…the demonic pig’s mouth. Amityville: The Awakening hits theaters on Thursday, Feb 5, 2015. Many thanks to Princess Vazquez for getting some info from the Elusive Chanteuse that runs the page. I’m guessing that a Thursday release means a midnight showing? Either that or someone is a LYING LIAR! Either way I hope this movie makes to the big screen if the rumors of positive reactions from audience screenings are true.
