Houses Don’t Have Memories

This week marks the 36th anniversary of the release of The Amityville Horror. It is still my favorite horror film and I rewatch it at least once a year. It was the highest grossing independent release in history (at that time) but no one could have predicted the horror empire it would spawn. A dozen books and movies later the story is showing no signs of going away.
