Happy New Year folks!

Now that your hangovers are hopefully ending I have sensational news! The internets are literally BUZZING* with the news that there is ANOTHER AMITYVILLE MOVIE COMING from Uncork’d Entertainment. YES! Can you believe it? How many does this make now? 57?

Sigh.

You’d think I’d be excited that the object of my obsession seems to be so popular. I mean how many supposedly dead franchises spawn so many reboots and totally unrelated stories “inspired” by them?

This one is called Amityville Terror. (I promise I am not making these up). 

“When a new family moves to an old house in Amityville, they are tormented and tortured by an evil spirit living in their house, and trapped by the malicious townspeople who want to keep them there.”

So…that is happening. It could be good. We’ll see. Someday I hope there’s a box set containing all the Amityville movies. That would be something.

Strangely I cannot find anything about this movie on the company’s website or on IMDB. But from the looks of their catalog it is sure to be an instant classic.

*maybe buzzing was a strong word. I saw the story on two sites. It must be true.
