Amityville: The Awakening, once scheduled for release in 2015 and then moved to April 1, 2016 has now been pushed to January 2017. The story they are hoping we will believe is that the studio heads just saw the film and decided that “people like to be scared in January, not April“.

People like to be scared anytime…but especially at Halloween. Wouldn’t October make more sense? Just put this thing out on DVD and call it a day.
