I’m worried about Amityville 1974. When I heard the folks behind Get Out were involved I was intrigued but then this artwork was dropped and I really don’t know what to think.

I wasn’t aware that Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV fame had been consulted for the production design. Haunted shiplap? Holy hell what a mess.

Filming has supposedly begun on this retelling of the DeFeo murders so there’s still hope. I’ll keep my fingers crossed until we get some on set images or a trailer next year.
